The prep process is the time in which everything is locked in right before shooting begins. The selection of crew, locations and equipment directly effect the look and feel of the film. Many key decisions are made throughout the prep process such as shooting schedule, props, set and wardrobe selections as well as supporting cast. This is the compressed time period in which choices are going to directly effect the film.
